Cher Lloyd has tweeted a snap of her latest tattoo – a tribute piece to her beloved uncle ‘Boo.’
The X Factor starlet posted the picture on her Twitter account last night along with the message: “Happy birthday uncle boo, missing you. New tattoo. Xxxx.”
Cher’s tattoo shows a bird flying free from an open cage, holding a ribbon in its mouth with the word ‘Boo’ written on.
The teenager’s uncle Edward Smith, 34, known to friends and family as ‘Boo Boo’, passed away in September last year while Cher was competing on the X Factor.
An inquest found that the father-of-six died after being tricked into taking the deadly heroin substitute methadone.
Coroner Geraint Williams said: “The evidence is that somebody gave Boo Boo methadone.
“I’m satisfied that he was deceived in to that, but I don’t know who gave it to him.”
Cher was known to be close to Boo Boo, who lived nearby her in their hometown of Malvern, Worcestershire.
The pint-sized rapper is a fan of going under the needle and already had five tattoos before her new addition, including two quotes on her arms and a diamond and musical note on her hands.
