CBeebies childrens’ doctor becomes sex symbol among bored housewives

A young doctor on a kids’ TV show is being inundated with love-sick admirers – after becoming a sex symbol with housewives.

Dr Ranj Singh, a former male model, presents Get Well Soon on CBeebies where he treats puppets for an array of illnesses from stomach bugs to the common cold.

Scores of mothers have bombarded parenting website Mumsnet with amorous messages about the real-life paediatrician who still works part-time at a hospital in Kent.

Amy wrote: “This guy is gorgeous. Lovely eyes and a great smile. Anyone who has seen him and think the same.”

And Emma added: “Oh la la, I just googled him and he looks delicious on his web site. I bet every woman walking this earth fancies him. what’s not to like?”

Mothers even admit to making their children watch the show just so they can ogle Dr Ranj on screen.

Amanda wrote: “Mmmm, he’s beautiful, my daughter loves the programme so I have an excuse to drool over him everyday.”

Shabana added: “Lol i use the same excuse to watch the prog. i seem more interested then my lil girl does! apparently he has been on a number of prog’s before like the one show, bbc switch..but just noticed him now hopefully he has a long series!”

Some say they go weak at the knees for his “perfect teeth” and “stunning eyes”, while others hail him “the best reason for mums to watch kids’ telly since Andy Crane”.

Poster Janey said: “I wouldn’t mind having a full body exam by Dr Ranj. He certainly makes my blood pressure rise, those dreamy eyes and strong hands. Oh my.”

In his typically cool and calm manner, Dr Ranj Singh today laughed off the attention he gets from his army of yummy mummy admirers.

He told SWNS: “I’m really flattered and very glad that people of all ages are watching and enjoying the show.”

Earlier this year dozens of mums flooded internet forums expressing how much they fancied fellow CBeebies newcomer Ben Faulks — who plays green-fingered Mr Bloom.
