MEOWCH – This hilarious photograph captures the moment a cat wakes from an operation – and realises he’s been given the SNIP.
Six month-old Milo let out an almightly screech as he looked down and saw that his ‘bits’ had gone.
He underwent the routine neutering procedure last weekend and came round from the anaesthetic on his owner’s bed.
Milo was so puzzled by the loss of his testicles he then kept checking to see if they were coming back.
Owner John Reed caught Milo’s bemusement after getting him back home in Frizington, Cumbria, from a local vets.
John, 58, a property developer, said: “It was priceless. He took about a good hour or so coming around.
“He looked down and realised they were missing and let out this almighty screech. He carried on looking down and staring for ages.
“I just chuckled. We’ve had a good laugh at the pictures since. The second one is amazing.”
John and his wife Julia, 59, had been planning on the operation at West Lakeland vets, Cumbria for a while.
Pets are routinely neutered at an early age to prevent them fathering unwanted litters.
