When Andrew Doublett, 48, finishes a day shift he swaps one set of tools for another more glamorous set – all while still dressed in his builder’s overalls. Andrew first swapped nine-inch nails for something a little more dainty after pitching in to help out at wife Julie’s salon, when she became stuck. But Andrew said joining his wife at the salon meant they got to spend more time together as he said he was fed up being by himself in the evenings while Julie, 54, worked late on giving out her beauty treatments.
