A bungling burglar gave himself away when he looked straight into a CCTV camera and flicked the middle finger before fleeing with just £4.
Police are hunting four thieves who were filmed breaking into a property in an attempt to steal a set of car keys.
CCTV footage captured them creeping around a back garden of the house in Oakfield Road, in the Wollescote area of Stourbridge, West Mids., at 4am on December 18.

The suspects climbed over a neighbour’s fence and snapped a rear UPVC lock to gain access to the house.
Police believe they were looking for keys to a car parked on the drive, but instead they walked away with a couple of gift cards and just £4 cash.
Before fleeing virtually empty-handed, one of the frustrated crooks spots the security camera and looks straight into the lens before making an obscene hand gesture.
Detective Constable Darren Barnes, of West Midlands Police, said: “The people responsible have shown a complete disregard for the victim. Not only breaking into his property, but by making a rude gesture to the camera.
“The value of what was taken may be relatively small, but this group could strike again so I am determined to catch them.”
