Here comes the bride – and she looks good enough to eat in this dress made from MERINGUES.
Fashion student Lori Marshall, 30, spent a month stitching 1,500 meringues into this mouth-watering outfit.
She painstakingly attached three different sizes of sweets onto a lightweight skirt which then fits over two underskirts made from cotton and satin.

The creation was then sprayed with varnish to stop it melting under the lights at the launch of the Scottish Wedding Show at the SECC in Glasgow yesterday, where it was modelled by former Miss Scotland Lois Weatherup.
Lori, from the Southside of Glasgow, who studies Fashion Technology at Clyde College, said: “In theory you could wear it for a wedding dress but the bride would need strong legs – it’s a very heavy dress.
“It would probably be all right in the rain for a few minutes but you wouldn’t want to get married in it on a hot day.”
Confectioners Lees of Scotland supplied the meringues for the crazy costume.
Lois, 29, said: “It was quite heavy to wear but it’s beautiful – so detailed.
“I’m not married and it would be great to wear something so unusual on my big day.
“I thought the meringues might melt or drop off under the lights but the dress stayed in one piece. It’s amazing.”
The Scottish Wedding Show is at the SECC Glasgow 5th and 6th October,
