Armed police are hunting for a gunman who is on the loose following a shooting at a block of flats.
Police were called to reports gunshots had been fired in a suburb of Coventry, West Mids., this afternoon.
A 34-year-old man was found with a wound to his lower arm and was taken to hospital.
His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
Yesterday afternoon specially trained officers swooped on the block of flats on Faseman Avenue, in the Tile Hill area of the city.
Police believe the shooting was a targeted attack but as of yesterday evening had not yet caught the fugitive gunman.
Local residents expressed their shock on social networking sites.

While Tom Cranmer added: “Sound like the armed police are in Faseman Avenue waiting for someone to give themselves up.”
