Mega-rich Roman Abramovich caused a stir in a remote Scottish village when he took his CORGI for a walk – accompanied by five burly bodyguards.
The secretive billionaire was spotted taking a speedboat from his £500 million mega-yacht to a jetty on the Isle of Arran.
He then got off and, flanked by heavies, took the pint-sized pooch for a tour of Lochranza, a village with a population of just 250.
The Chelsea owner is currently on a tour of Scotland, staying on his 536-foot long yacht, Eclipse.
To walk his Corgi – a breed loved by the Queen – Abramovich sported a pair of £60 Nike trainers and an Eclipse branded fleece.
Onlookers today (Mon) spoke of their surprise at seeing one of the world’s richest men taking a stroll around the Scottish island.
One local said: “He’s having a good time and seems to be enjoying himself. He’s been very nice and calm – and very pleasant to everyone who speaks to him.
“The views are absolutely phenomenal and everyone here is so laid back and friendly so you can see why he enjoys coming here.
“Every other tourist I’ve seen has been pleasantly surprised to spot him walking around. His corgi is very cute.”
The yacht – once the world’s biggest – was moored off Lochranza, Arran, after the brief voyage from the nearby Isle of Bute where the oil and metals tycoon had earlier been seen cycling.
He flew by private jet to Glasgow airport late last week and then made the transfer of about 30 miles to his yacht in the Firth of Clyde by private helicopter.
The Chelsea owner is expected to visit Kilnaughton Bay on the Isle of Islay, Argyll, next.
