Beyonce could be headlining Glastonbury Festival 2011 alongside U2 and Coldplay, if line-up rumours are to be believed.
According to gossip website Holy Moly, the R’n’B star will taking up the same spot as her husband Jay-Z three years ago when he won over hundreds of skeptics and proved the pyramid stage doesn’t have to be all about guitars.
His performance paved the way for other hip-hop artists, such as Snoop Dogg, to wow the crowds at Worthy Farm.
The other headliners this year are thought to be Coldplay and U2 – much more staple Glasto fare.
And given that Beyonce’s hubby Jay-Z supported Coldplay on their 2009 tour, could we expect a ‘surprise’ guest to join them during their set?
