TV star Benedict Cumberbatch was today spotted filming the latest scenes for hit show Sherlock.
The stylish actor was seen playing Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s famous character on Suffolk Parade in Cheltenham.
Cumberbatch was joined on set by Amanda Abbington, partner of co-star Martin Freeman, who has recently joined the cast of the BBC1 detective drama.

There was excitement around the town as the famous faces arrived to film at The Daffodil Restaurant.
Mike Day, owner of the nearby Retreat Wine Bar on Suffolk Parade, said: “There has been a lot of activity on the street, it is all very exciting.
“I’m sure they have everything provided but it would be lovely if they popped in for a drink after filming.”
The show, which has now been sold in more than 180 countries, was first aired in three 90-minute episodes by the BBC in 2010.
The series is produced by Hartswood Films for BBC Wales and is primarily filmed in Cardiff but Portland Square was chosen for a particular scene.
Production of the third series was originally due to begin in January, but due to “availability reasons” it was pushed back to March.
