This is the moment a passenger in an Audi got out of the car and PUNCHED a cyclist in a shocking act of road rage.
The incident started as a number of bikers waited in a ‘cycle box’ at a set of traffic lights.
A white Audi A7 then slowly crept into the zone, frustrating a smartly-dressed man who decided to remonstrate with the motorist.

The Audi then speeds off, infuriating the cyclist who rides as fast as he can to catch up the the driver at the next set of lights.
When he reaches the Audi, he calls him a “f***ing p***k”, and appears to say the driver had nearly run over his foot.
A passenger in the Audi suddenly gets out and swings a left hook, hitting the cyclist before pushing him off his bike and into a stationary taxi.

He then yells a few obscenities before getting back into the car and being driven off.
The whole incident, which took place during Thursday morning rush hour on Farringdon Road in London, was captured on video and uploaded to YouTube.
It has now gone viral with more than 250,000 views in four days.
The road rage incident involving the cyclist and the Audi driver and passenger was captured on camera by Jude, who was on his way to work.
Jude, who didn’t want to give his full name, couldn’t be sure if the driver had run over the cyclist’s foot but said the driver had paid “little or no attention to the safety of the cyclist”.
The magazine editor, 26, from London, added: “Confrontations between cyclists and motorists are a daily occurrence in the same way that drivers shouting at other drivers from inside their car is common.
“That this resulted in physical violence is what makes it so shocking, I have never seen that before.
“It was shocking, you do not expect to see that kind of behaviour on the roads.”
A spokesperson for the Met Police said they were aware of the incident but hadn’t received a complaint.
They added: “We are keen to hear from the cyclist if he wants to report it.”
The cyclist is NEITHER wearing a helmet NOR any other appropriate clothing/ padding, so it’s pretty nonsensical that he should then whinge about potential injuries!
NEITHER a helmet NOR padding are required by law. But assault is against the law. Pretty nonsensical comment.
Why do the police need some one to make a complaint? The driver and his passenger committed several offences and those offences should be pursued by the police!
totally agree
This entire situation was the cyclists fault
Audi driver was wrong to hit, but the arrogance of the cyclist is unbelievable, he sits in front of the car, he knows the car either has to stay behind or go round, hands out abuse for a situation of his own making and hasn’t the courage to defend himself.
Cyclists are in denial about their road responsibilities.
Go Audi man
Re the first comment – Your argument is somewhat flawed, regarding clothing/padding, etc. I suspect that the person on the bicycle did not expect to get assaulted on the way to work – in exactly the same way that the person in the car did not fit a metal grille to protect his windscreen, so should he complain if a person threw their bicycle through it?
Re second comment, I agree totally, all the people involved should step forward to take responsibility for their actions.
– The driver for illegally encroaching into an ASL zone, endangering the lives of others, running over someone’s foot, not stopping to exchange details
– The passenger for violently physically assaulting another person (actual bodily harm)
– The person on the bicycle for swearing in response to having his foot run over.
These are, of course, very different misdemeanours and the penalties should be weighted accordingly.
This is appalling and the Met Police should be prosecuting the driver. However this video excluding the main content of one chap hitting another, really emphasises to me the issue in built up areas of motor vehicles and cyclists. There are bikes wizzing about all over the place some on the correct side others not, there is taxi stopped on a double red line at the start of a bus/cycle lane, and then of course there is the complete lack of understanding shown by the male in the Audi about what the ASL is there for.
The cyclist was looking for a fight, why would he have chased the car otherwise and sworn at the drivers window!?
Moral of the story “make way for Audi’s”
;0)
Audi Driver is in the right to fight back. That kind of in your face abuse deserves a good old fashion slap down.
“Oh no he encroached the cycle area, call the police” come on now this is london time waits for no man! Lets hold up a que of traffic so one cyclist can make a point. For the record, How does anyone know that the Audi driver does not ride bike too, he could have left bike at home for once, all the other cyclists kept left, Be seen if your on a bike wear a high viz vest.
Come to think of it pay road tax cyclist’s and them talk to me.
Lovely Audi too 🙂 if he was in an RS6 that would have been an epic video.
