Artist Richard Swarbrick has released an incredible animation reliving Tottenham Hotspur star Gareth Bale’s memorable Champions League performances against Inter Milan.
The painstaking effort took Richard a staggering 35 hours to meticulously reconstruct the moment Welsh star Bale was catapulted to super-stardom.
Bale, 21, tore Inter Milan full-back Maicon to shreds on two amazing Champions League nights late last year.
He bagged a memorable hat-trick at the San Siro in October as Spurs lost 4-3 in a thrilling encounter. Then, two weeks later, he produced another masterclass as the north London outfit ran out 3-1 winners at White Hart Lane.
Following his performances, Bale has attracted the attention of Europe’s top clubs with many thought to be preparing summer bids. England boss Fabio Capello recently called him the world’s best player while Sir Alex Ferguson admits he’s the one that got away.
Richard Swarbrick’s animation includes the match commentary along with a haunting piano soundtrack.
Bale only played a small role in Spurs’ draw against AC Milan last night, coming on as a second-half substitute as Harry Redknapp’s team qualified for the quarter-finals of the Champions League.
