This adorable bald hamster born without any hair is keeping warm - with her own wooly jumper. See SWNS story SWJUMPER. One-year-old Silky was taken to an animal shelter when her family moved home to a colder area and could no longer care for her. Staff noticed the shivering hamster huddled in the corner of her cage desperately trying to keep warm. Kind-hearted care technician Selene Mejia knitted Silky a 5cm long white wooly sweater complete with holes for her tiny paws. She's now looking for a new home after beating an eye infection and being put up for adoption at the Oregon Humane Society, in the U.S.
