Pete Talbot with the driftwood hut. A sculptor who created a shed out of driftwood scatted along the beach in the 2013 storms. See MASONS story MNHUT; Sculptor Pete Talbot, 57, created the unique shed for his next door neighbour Karen Scott, 49, to give her somewhere to store her unwanted items from her house. The artist decided to create the building out of broken beach huts battered by the tidal surge which hit the North Norfolk coast in December 2013. The building that is situated between Pete and Karen’s homes in Overstrand, Norfolk, is now up for sale for #32,000. Karen, who lives with her son Luca, (corr) ten, currently used the shed as storage space for items from her house that she wanted to get rid of.
