Simon Christie-Irwin, 34, and Rachelle, 29, snubbed a luxury holiday in Cuba in favour of Banky’s dreary Bemusement Park in rainy Weston-super-Mare, Bristol. The bride and groom, who officially tied the knot in Newcastle last week, donned full wedding attire in order to recreate their big day at the former Tropicana lido site. They had planned to catch flights to Cuba on Saturday morning for three weeks in the sun before carrying on travelling indefinitely, until money ran out.
