Each image by Alice Keegan depicts a well-known ‘and’ phrase of two objects commonly paired together such as ‘sticks and stones’ or ‘day and night’. Alice, 23, has used a series of symbols, signs and a variety of household items and bits of food to create her eleven puzzles. Each one represents a famous ‘and’ saying – which can be worked out by studying the image.
