X Factor bosses have revealed the contestants’ song choice’s for this Saturday’s ‘Beatles week.’
It is the first time that the Fab Four’s legendary back catalogue has been used for the show’s theme.
The Sun has reported that unpopular Katie Waissel will be singing Help, while Rebecca Ferguson will be taking on Yesterday. The third remaining girl, Cher Lloyd, will be trying her hand at John Lennon’s Imagine.
Matt Cardle will be performing Come Together, which was also sung by Olly Murs last year, and Paige Richardson will take on Let It Be.
Former Tesco’s worker Mary Byrne will be singing Something and boyband One Direction have chosen All You Need Is Love.
Eccentric Wagner will be singing a monster medley of Hippy Hippy Shake, Get Back and Hey Jude, which will no doubt raise some eyebrows amongst the judges.
The show could spark huge sales of The Beatles songs, which were made available to download on iTunes for the first time this week. In the first 24 hours of downloads, 54 Beatles tracks appeared in the iTunes top 200.
