Wayne Rooney and wife Coleen have christened their one-year-old son Kai in a secret £5000 ceremony in Scotland.
But unfortunately, snow and ice delayed the proceedings by five hours and made Wayne late back for training – much to the disappointment of manager Sir Alex Ferguson.
According to The Sun, the couple hired out Kinnettles Castle in Perthshire for family and friends, where they splashed out £600 on a luxury Christening cake and drank the bar dry of Champagne.
Wayne and Coleen have been rocked by scandal this year following tabloid claims he cheated on her whilst pregnant.
Although the couple travelled back to Manchester by helicopter the delay reportedly made Wayne late for training. The Sun reported that Alex Ferguson is said to be ‘annoyed’.
In cornish ‘Kai’ means ‘dog’ and is a popular name for mans best friend.
It has no meaning in english.
What a horrible thing to say about a child. If you’d google the name ‘Kai’ you’d also learn that there are other meanings than in the Cornish language. Also a side note, parents can name their children anything-who are you or anyone else to judge?
It was actually Angus, not Perthshire!!!
