Manchester City striker Emmanuel Adebayor has passed his Real Madrid medical with the Spaniards hailing the striker’s “tremendous physique”.
Adebayor will now team up with the Jose Mourinho and Cristiano Ronaldo at the Bernabau until the end of the season.
Dr. Carlos Diez carried out the medical today the Spanish capital’s Sanitas-La Moraleja Hospital as the controversial footballer finalised his loan move.
The striker has become surplus to big spending Man City’s requirements following the recent signing of Bosnian Edin Dzeko and is believed to have taken a pay cut as part of the loan deal.
Dr Diez told the Real Madrid website: “We completed all our tests and he is in perfect health from both a cardiovascular and a biomechanics standpoint.
“He feels like he is ready to being working with the team.
“He has a tremendous physique and is readily available to the coaching staff as soon as he joins the team.”
Adebayor joined Man City from Arsenal at the beginning of last season but has struggled to make Roberto Mancini’s starting XI with the Italian manager favouring Carlos Tevez, Mario Balotelli and Dzeko to the powerful African.
