Hollywood star Thandie Newton is to become the new face of Olay.
The stunning London-born actress, who was awarded a BAFTA for her role in crime drama ‘Crash’, has been signed to promote the beauty giant’s Total Effects skincare range.
Thandie, 37, will star in the forthcoming print and TV advertising campaign for the brand’s 7-in-1 anti-ageing moisturiser.
Yesterday a spokeswoman for Olay said: ”We are delighted to welcome Thandie on board for this campaign.
”Thandie Newton is an inspirational figure to working women with children whose pragmatic approach to a beauty routine ensures her skincare is as multi-tasking as much as she is.
The A-list actress and mother-of-two made her film debut alongside a young Nicole Kidman in Australian movie Flirting in 1991.
She has since gone on to gain global recognition as one of the leading lights of international film, epitomised by the award for Best Supporting Actress in 2006 for Crash.
Thandie said: ”When filming, my working day is hectic so trying to strike a balance between work, a family and time for myself can be challenging.
”That’s why I was keen to get involved in the campaign for Olay Total Effects.
”It’s a brand I trust and I love the fact that it offers me an all-in-one, anti-ageing moisturiser which takes care of all my skincare needs and does the skincare multi-tasking for me.”
Is she really 37? I thought she is just in her early 30’s since she looks a little younger than her age. Well I think she is a perfect endorser of this skincare product because of her younger look.
I think she is just perfect for the new skincare campaign of Olay since she has a very beautiful skin which is younger looking than her actual age.
