A teenager was invited on stage to have a selfie with Adele – days after posing next to her WAXWORK.
Lucky Matthew Hutchinson, 19, was stunned when the pop star picked him out of the crowd at a concert.
She invited Matthew, of Hartlepool, on stage and they posed with a selfie together on stage in Manchester.
His seflie looks just like one he had taken days before – when he posed next to the ‘Rolling In The Deep’ singer at Madame Tussauds in London.
Matthew, who is studying theology and religious studies at the University of York, said: ”I was going through my photos before the gig and found a selfie that I’d got with the Adele waxwork when I was at Madame Tussauds in London.
”I’m not sure why I did but I printed it out and took it to the concert with me. She happened to walk right past me down the aisle and I handed her the picture.
“She took it off me and looked at and just said, ‘That won’t do will it? Come up on stage and get a selfie’. I was never expecting that.”
“If I’d known she was going to do that, I would have taken her something better than just a printed out photo.
“It was so amazing getting up stage with her, and she was so nice. She said I was lovely and said that I had the best eyes.
“I’m a huge fan – she’s amazing. I went to Manchester specially for the gig but I never imagined I’d get up on stage with Adele.”
Matthew added: “I got to meet Adele. I can’t believe how lucky we’ve been.”
