A teenage factory worker who filmed himself having sex with his girlfriend’s DOG was spared jail today after a court heard it was “30 seconds of madness.”
Wayne Bryson pleaded guilty to “engaging in an act of sexual penetration” with four-year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier Rudy on January 17.
The 19-year-old’s shocked girlfriend Amber Hickling, 18, was looking for photos of their child on his phone when she spotted the sick footage of him humping the terrified pooch.
She handed the phone to police and Bryson, who worked at a recycling plastics factory, was arrested the same day.
Yesterday Bryson appeared at Skegness Magistrates Court where he admitted having sex with the dog and another charge of possessing 315 grammes of cannabis bush.
Describing the disturbing footage which Amber discovered on Bryson’s phone, prosecutor Paul Woods said: “The dog was shaking in a back and forwards motion.
“She could see a man’s penis going in and out of the animal. The clip was about 30 seconds long.”
He received a four month prison sentence, suspended for two years, and ordered to sign the Sex Offenders’ Register for seven years. The maximum sentence for the offence is two years imprisonment.
When he was sentenced a furious man in the public gallery shouted: “He is a beast, a dog has got no voice.”
JPs also slapped Bryson, of Louth, Lincs., with a one year supervision order and ordered him to pay an £80 victim surcharge.

He was also told he must never be alone with any animal again.
Gordon Holt, defending, told the court: “There may be all sorts of reasons why a boy gets up to something as stupid and disgusting as this.
“Mr Bryson’s entire life has been swept away for 30 seconds of madness. The consequences are extensive and will continue to blight his life.
“His family have disowned him and his girlfriend has ended their relationship.
“He was interviewed about the offence and he admitted he had penetrated the vagina of the dog and that he had videoed it on his phone.
“He said it lasted 30 seconds and that he did not ejaculate.
“He recorded it. He does not know why but he has not circulated it.”
Speaking after the sentencing, Amber, from Louth, said: “When I found the video I felt sick. I was shaking and crying. I just couldn’t believe it.
“I would have been surprised to catch him cheating, but to catch him shagging my dog was wrong on a different level.
“He could have been doing it all along and I only caught him because he taped it.
“I felt dirty just knowing he touched me after he could do something like that with my dog.
“While I was worrying about other women I should have been worrying about my pets.
“When I heard the sentence, I was very upset. I think he should have got a much harsher
sentence.
“He should be locked up. If it had been a person he would be, but because it’s a dog that couldn’t even defend itself he’s free.
“I still feel sick about it and I don’t think I’ll ever get over it.
“I have to live with what he’s done to Rudy and he is free to do it again with another animal.”
Amber has been so traumatised by Bryson’s actions she is seeking counselling and has been forced to re-home Rudy because she cannot bear to “look her in the eye.”
She added: “When I looked at her all I could see was what Wayne did.
“She wasn’t the same dog. She was frightened and cowering.
“I couldn’t stand to look at her so I found a family to re-home her with.
“I lost my dog and my boyfriend.
“It has made me feel like no matter how well you think you know someone – you never really know what they are capable of.”
Chairman of the bench at Skegness Magistrate’s Court Malcolm Johnson said: “A short custodial sentence will not be the best way of dealing with this matter.
“A short custodial sentence would not afford you the issue that clearly needs to be addressed about your sexuality.
“There is certainly no doubt that the public reaction has had a serious and profound effect on you and your family.
“Clearly there are issues that you need to address.
“There are clearly matters to be addressed about the way you view things.”
Neighbours of Bryson also expressed their disgust at his crime.
Zoe Wilson-Hall, said: “It’s sick – that is the best way of putting it.
“I didn’t think anything like that would happen around here. I’m just glad my dog doesn’t get out and we are careful with our animals.”
Another neighbour, Jane Ulyatt, said: “I think it’s disgusting.
“You hear about it in foreign magazines but you never think that they would be on your doorstop.”
And a friend of Bryson, who did not want to be named, said: “I get on with him.
“I’m really surprised – it’s shocking.
“He’s just a normal young boy, he’s a good boy.
“He must have been drunk or something.”
