A teen yob has been banned from every pub and nightclub in an entire city for a year after he bragged about punching a reveller in the head – on Twitter.

Karl Orman, 19, was arrested by cops after randomly headbutting a 22-year-old man in S7VEN nightclub in Coventry, West Mids., on August 12.

Officers charged Orman with assault before linking him to a similar unprovoked attack on a 20-year-old man at Scholars nightclub in the city on June 30.

As part of their investigation, cops discovered Orman had bragged on Twitter how he “threw a Judas” after the first attack – a slang expression for punching someone to the back of the head.

Orman was charged with both assaults and pleaded guilty at Coventry Magistrates Court last Thursday (11/10).

He was slapped with a 12 month supervision order, ordered to carry out 200 hours of unpaid work and given a 12 month drink banning order.

He is now banned from entering any licensed premises in Coventry city centre and risks jail if he breaches the order.

Orman was also ordered to pay #100 compensation to each of the victims and #85 in court costs.

Speaking after the case, PC Dale Hughes, of West Midlands Police, said: “Officers are working closely with the council and those local businesses linked to the night time economy to reduce the number of alcohol fuelled violence, ensuring a safer night for staff and visitors.

“We carry out regular checks with licensed premises to make sure both underage drinkers and troublesome people are not allowed entry.

“Staff working at the clubs are also linked to officers via a radio link, allowing us to quickly respond to any reports of criminal behaviour.

“Everyone should be able to enjoy a night out without the fear of violence or intimidation.

“Those who are still intent on causing trouble will be arrested and can expect to be banned from the area or a prison term.”
