Chart topper Ed Sheeran poses with US popstar Taylor Swift after taking her for a meal in his local pub – fuelling rumours they are more than just showbiz pals.
Hysterical fans took to social media to reveal the famous duo were in the picturesque Suffolk market town of Framlingham where Ed grew up.
The A-list stars duetted on hit song Everything Has Changed and rumours followed that the pair are dating although they both insist they are no more than friends.
They were seen on Monday night in The Station pub where landlord Mike Jones said: “They were very nice and were very complimentary.
“Ed uses the pub anyway, and signed his record contract here, but we like to keep it low-key.
“They are only human after all.”
Local Alice Dearlove took a selfie with the famous pair which went viral when she tweeted it.
Asked about meeting them Alice tweeted: “I know it’s so weirdddd!!! (sic) Went to the pub in Fram (sic) earlier and they were there!! I’m famous! Haha.”
Ginger-haired Ed has made regular returns to his hometown since finding fame and has said he would ideally be based in Suffolk if his label would let him.
Instead he records most of his music in the US and it was reported earlier this year that he had even bought a property in Nashville, Texas, where Swift grew up.
His trip to Suffolk comes just months after playing three sell-out gigs at Madison Square Garden where he was joined on stage by Swift.
