Super-fit Colin Nicklas completed the world’s toughest foot race by running 156 miles – with a broken ankle.
Colin, 40, ran the Marathon des Sables in the Sahara Desert despite breaking a bone in his ankle just weeks before.
The race sees competitors completing a full marathon (26.2 miles) every day for six days in temperatures up to 50C (122F).
Colin, of Plymouth, Devon, said: ”I met some amazing people. Now it’s time to recover and sort out the ankle.”
