Shocked Londoners got to their destination a lot quicker than expected after they travelled to work – in a trio of SUPERCARS.
A Ferrari F430, Porsche 911 Turbo and an Aston Martin DBS were parked up in the capital offering free rides to their destination in the centre of the city.
The exotic machines, complete with iconic yellow taxi lights, had no problem grabbing the attention of passersby looking for a ride to work.
One passenger, 37-year-old Asam Ahmed, said: “It was a great experience as it’s not often you get the chance to see inside a supercar, let alone go for a ride around London.
“It was a real thrill and I really enjoyed it.”
The supercar taxis were organised by Virgin Media, which was celebrating the launch of its new 100mb broadband service.
Jon James, executive director of Broadband at Virgin Media said: “With the announcement of our new 100Mb service, we wanted to do something fun and iconic to celebrate
“Our fleet of Ultrafast Taxis in London provided commuters with a bit of excitement to liven up their day and give them the opportunity to get a taste of life in the fast lane.”
