Speechmatics, the creator of a world leading speaker-independent speech recognition software platform, with market leading accuracy, has recently released a brand new framework, Auto-Auto, allowing them to rapidly create and continuously improve languages.

As part of this AI based framework, Speechmatics has announced its capability to deliver German to its line-up of new languages.  Demonstrating the company’s long track record and dedication to the application of machine learning, Speechmatics’ software is now able to provide its customers with a new language every two weeks.

Auto-Auto is a truly unique technology, comprising tools and methods developed over 30-years of ground-breaking research led by Dr Tony Robinson. The software allows the rapid creation of languages for use within the market leading AI-based Speech Recognition platform from Speechmatics, enabling the company to quickly bring  new languages to market, responding to customer and market demands.

Alongside the launch of this new software, and a brand new language, Speechmatics is also announcing plans to respond to customer requests. The company is now allowing customers and partners to become actively involved in its processes, and vote on which language should be developed next. Users can now visit the Speechmatics website and conduct their vote for their favoured language.

Neil MacDonald, Chief Revenue Officer at Speechmatics, commented “German represents the latest in a continuous and accelerating delivery roadmap of language capability. This has only been made possible through our unique Machine Learning training platform that delivers new languages, revisions and specific use-case variants, using minimal data and in as little as 10 days.

“By allowing our customers and partners to become actively involved in our software developments, we can be confident that we’re responding to customer demand, and that, as a company, we’re ensuring our patrons have access to the languages they want, when they want them.”

Speechmatics German capabilities are now available to use, and the vote for new languages is open.
