This was the dramatic scene after a brand-new Range Rover crashed into a period property in one of London’s poshest areas – after being shot at.
The gunman fired a number of shots at the £70,000 4×4, which was being driven by a 32-year-old man.
He missed the car, but in a panic the driver lost control and hit a row of railings before crashing into a Stucco-fronted townhouse which has been converted into flats.
The driver was uninjured in the shocking incident but the gunman got away, fleeing the scene on the corner of Cleveland Terrace and Gloucester Terrace before police arrived.
Officers from the Met Police today (Tues) appealed for witnesses to the incident, which happened on Sunday afternoon.
Gloucester Terrace, in affluent W2, is among the capital’s most expensive areas with the average property costing more than £1.1 million.
