Legendary swordsman Rod Stewart is to be a father – for the SEVENTH time.
The 65-year-old is expecting the baby with supermodel wife Penny Lancaster, 39. It will be the couple’s second child following the birth of Alasdair in 2006.
In a statement released today, the couple said said: “Penny and Rod were lucky enough to be celebrating more than just their third wedding anniversary in June, as the news came that Penny was pregnant with their second child.
“We were thrilled and delighted to be able to tell Alastair that he was going to be the big brother to a little baby, expected just before Mummy’s 40th birthday.”
The pensioner, who is worth £105 million, has six children from four relationships – Kimberly, 30, Sean, 29, Ruby, 23, Renee, 18, Liam, 5 and Alasdair, 4.
Despite his senior age, the singer remains in good shape, regularly organising celebrity football matches in Los Angeles, where he has a £12 million mansion.
