Festival goers make the most of the wet weather at V Festival at Weston Park, Shropshire. August 23 2015.

Since August 1996 music lovers across the UK have been looking forward to the annual V Festival that has become one of the biggest and most widely attended music festivals anywhere on earth. Every year there is a stellar line up of performers, some of the world’s top talent, but this year is a special event for the 20th Anniversary of V Festival. Record numbers of festival goers are expected to attend and with the line-up of stars set to perform in both locations, it could very well break all records.

Packing It across Country

One of the main attractions of V Festival is that the event is held in two locations simultaneously on two nights as the performers switch locations on alternate nights. This year the two headliners hail from Canada and the United States and teen heartthrob Justin Bieber will headline on Saturday 20 August in Hylands Park Chelmsford whilst Rihanna will headline in Weston Park Staffordshire on the Saturday, both swapping locations for the Sunday, 21 August. Festival goers are packing ready for their weekend of music and tons of fun with music lovers who have long awaited this year’s stellar line-up.

Meeting up with Mates

Although this year’s headliners appeal to the younger set, many fans have been attending the festival each and every year for the past 20 summers. What began in August of 1996 is just getting stronger by the year and many have met fellow music lovers that they meet up with yearly. Some even come from countries around the globe to be in attendance at one of the UK’s most famous events and over the years many friendships have forged a lasting bond.

Arrive Early

Many campers arrive early on Monday to get the best spots in the camp grounds and love to spend time in the peaceful surroundings of the park. One day mayhem the next day serenity but often the music continues to play from caravans lining the grounds and some of the roadways as they head their way home again to everyday life. When attending V Festival at Weston Park Staffordshire and looking to camp in the vicinity, there is a lovely park less than 2 miles from the site of the festival that has tent and caravan spaces to rent but bookings should be made early as spaces are limited.

If This Is Your First V Festival

Although many festival goers have been here year after year, some are attending for the very first time. If you are uncertain about what to bring along with you, you can find Festival V checklists at online gaming sites. The next time you play bingo online with Ladbrokes, don’t forget to get your festival packing checklist so that you come well prepared for a weekend of fun and entertainment.* This is a festival like no other and you will surely want to have everything on hand to make your weekend carefree and enjoyable.

Why worry about what you forgot to bring when you could be spending your time listening to big name bands or being entertained in the comedy tent? With record numbers expected at this year’s 20th Anniversary V Festival celebration, you should plan to arrive early and perhaps spend a day or two extra to avoid the mad rush in and out of the park.
