The Reading and Leeds 2011 festival line-up was announced last night, with Muse, My Chemical Romance and The Strokes headlining across the three days.
Other acts making up the 48 bands confirmed so far include rock legends Jane’s Addiction, 90’s nu-metal heroes Deftones, indie warblers Elbow and emo-popsters Jimmy Eat World.
Also appearing are Interpol, The Offspring, Rise Against, 30 Seconds to Mars and Liam Gallgher’s new outfit Beady Eye.
However there is no sign of Green Day or the Arctic Monkeys, both of whom were rumoured to be headlining.
The festival takes place from 26-28 August and tickets are now on sale priced at £192.50.
