Anton Paar is pleased to be presenting at the 28th Annual General Meeting of the European Lubricating Grease Institute in April 2016.
The event is an annual forum bringing together experts from across the world to discuss technological and regulatory advances in the field of lubricating grease.
The institute is involved in all aspects of this product group, particularly those concerning the technical, economic, ecological and legislative positions in Europe.
This year the theme of the conference is “Sustainability in the Grease Industry”, with papers relating to green lubrication, environmentally friendly chemical engineering and other topics with the goal to conserve natural resources.
Anton Paar will present its Rapidoxy instrument for oxidation stability measurement, detailing work carried out with RS Clare.
Anton Paar develops, produces and distributes highly accurate laboratory instruments and process measuring systems, and provides custom-tailored automation and robotic solutions.
It is the world leader in the measurement of density, concentration and CO2 and in the field of rheometry.
They will be demonstrating thesuitability of the Rapidoxy for NPD and quality control of greases, due to its ease of use and accelerated test results.
The measurement of oxidation stability is especially important when developing grease and lubrication products designed to be biodegradable, in applications such as forestry and the rail industry.
The 28th AGM of the ELGI is being held in Venice from 16th – 19th April 2016.
