A firm specialising in keeping away pigeons and seagulls has launched its new website.
NBC Bird and Pest Solutions revealed their new online presence earlier this month. It will allow users who are having problems with birds, foxes, badgers and other pests to log on and report their problems.
The site was designed by Norfolk digital agency Websmart and includes dozens of features for members of the public to get to grip with problem animals.
A spokesman said: ‘NBC Bird and Pest are well known in their field as the experts of bird and wildlife management and as such are always looking for the next innovative and ethical solution to whatever problem their customers may have.
‘From birds, including nesting issues and guano removal, to pest control and wildlife management, NBC pride themselves on being among the UK’s leading experts and have an arsenal of humane and industry leading solutions at their disposal.
‘So it makes sense that they also live those values when it comes to their own brand and their customers experience when visiting their website.’
NBC teamed up with Norfolk web design and digital agency, Websmart in 2011 and have gone from strength to strength with their online presence ever since.
NBC and Websmart worked closely together to build the existing site and at the time, was a jewel in Websmart’s portfolio crown; however in the ever changing world of the internet, it wasn’t long before the goal posts moved and they were faced with the new challenge of redesigning NBC’s website to meet the demands of the mobile device.
With more and more of us using our mobile phones and tablets to browse the internet, NBC wanted to ensure that all their customers were receiving the same user friendly experience, no matter how the site was viewed.
Each section of the site was carefully rewritten, moved and re-categorised, all the while keeping the user experience at the forefront of the design. Information can now be found faster, the contact process has been streamlined and industry jargon kept to a minimum.
NBC Marketing DirectorDuncan Jones said: ‘I am delighted with the new website which better reflects our values and customer focus. The new site is more responsive to mobile devices so visitors will be able to quickly find the information they need or the person they want to contact.
‘It allows us a new platform to showcase the passion and enthusiasm we have for not only our work but also wildlife conservation and community engagement.’
Duncan said that the partnership with Websmart is likely to continue.
He added: “The new site is the first stage in developments over coming months to provide the information and media rich content to inform and add value to visitors and our customers.
‘All eyes should be firmly fixed on both NBC and Websmart in 2015 it seems, with two very exciting and innovative companies bringing big things to the table.’
