Palamedes PR has been appointed by award-winning author Mairi McLellan to spearhead a UK publicity drive for her series of children’s books, ‘What do the grown-ups do?’
The agency, a market leader in book PR, will focus upon bringing the series to the attention of key consumer and public sector audiences.
Its activity will precede a secondary campaign for ‘Gordon the Wildlife Filmmaker’, book six of the ‘What do the grown-ups do?’ series, which follows the career of the celebrated BBC documentary maker, Gordon Buchanan.
McLellan, whose series of books recently won the bronze medal for ‘Best Book Series – Non-fiction’ from the Moonbeam Children’s Books Awards, said: “Palamedes PR has a proven track record in the effective promotion of non-fiction titles. The books have been met with fantastic reviews and the next step is to increase awareness across the country, which is where Palamedes and their creative team really make a difference.”
A spokesman for Palamedes PR added: “We are very much looking forward to supporting Mairi and securing the exposure that the ‘What do the grown-ups do?’ series of books thoroughly deserve.”
