This is the moment a van overturned yesterday spilling thousands of cans of LAGER across the M6 motorway.
The driver suffered minor injuries after it crashed with another car at 11.30am.
The crash happened at junction two of the northbound carriageway near Coventry.
Thousands of cans of Carling and Kronenbourg lager spilled across all three lanes of the motorway.
Police closed both carriageways for more than four hours while the gallons of lager was mopped up.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: ”Crews arrived to find a van that was on its side and significantly damaged after it had overturned and shed its load.
”The driver and passenger, both men, had managed to get out of the vehicle.
”The passenger was uninjured and the driver, who was in his 30s, had suffered minor injuries.”
The driver was taken to Coventry’s University Hospital for treatment.
