Nicole Scherzinger has said she would consider an offer on the US X Factor judging panel alongside Simon Cowell and Cheryl Cole.
It was reported today that Cheryl, 27, has been offered a £3 million contract to join the show next year and Nicole, 32, is rumoured to be in the running for a place on the judging panel.
The former Pussycat Doll has also told reporters she would love to duet with Cheryl’s protégé, Cher Lloyd.
Nicole was a hit with audiences when she stepped in to cover Dannii Minogue’s maternity leave on the British version of the show this year. But she told Metro that she wasn’t looking to take over Dannii’s job.
She said: “[Dannii] has been doing it for years. It was so exciting but I didn’t want to wear out my welcome.”
But she hasn’t ruled out taking up any offers of a place on the US show, saying: “I’d consider it.”
She continued: “It’s a huge commitment, it’s something I’ve got to take very seriously and I have to see where I want to go with my music and stuff.
“But you know, [Simon’s] kind of not bad luck to be around. He brings out the best in people.”
Nicole also said she would love to duet with Cher Lloyd, saying: “I saw Cher and thought, ‘I might have a spot for you in one of my songs.’
“She is such a dope superfly rapper and that is one thing I’m not good at!”
Yeah want Nicole to be an X Factor judge shes really good
