A mystery have-a-go-hero who wrestled with armed robbers after they raided a high-street jewellers was interviewed by detectives today.

The man, who is believed to be Eastern-European, had a gun pointed at him when he interrupted a robbery at Harvey Daly jewellers, in Peterborough, Cambs., on Friday.
He contacted detectives investigating the case today following a police appeal and is currently being interviewed by officers.
Police believe they have identified one of the armed robbers suspected of committing the armed robbery but have not yet been able to arrest him.
A spokesman for Cambridgeshire Constabulary said: ”We have identified the man who interrupted the robbery and we are now speaking to him at some length.
”We have not yet made any arrests in connect with the crime but inquiries are continuing.”
Two robbers entered the jewellers at around 10.20am on Friday and threatened a member of staff before fleeing when they were challenged.
It is believed one of the men grabbed a small amount of gold necklaces before leaving the premises.
Police are appealing for witnesses and information about the crime to come forward.
Detective Sergeant Andy Tolley said: ”Investigations are progressing and we are continuing our attempts to trace the men responsible.
”I would appeal for anyone who was there at the time who hasn’t come forward to call police.
”We believe we have identified one of the robbers but we are keen to identify the other, who hasn’t featured prominently in the pictures in the media.”
