Proud Dave Wall was celebrating after being crowned the UK’s furthest travelling milkman – after covering 861,000 miles delivering 2.6million pints in 21 years.
Dedicated Dave, 57, has covered the equivalent of 35 times round the world on his rounds from the Dairy Crest depot in Wisbech, Cambs.
He serves customers across Lincolnshire in Holbeach, Gedney, Fleet Hargate, Gedney Hill and Holbeach St Marks.
He began his career in 1989 after leaving his previous job milking cows in Derbyshire, beat 2,500 other Dairy Crest milkman for the title.
Dave, who lives in Algarkirk, Lincs., said: ”It’s a great round and I’m proud to be the farthest travelling milkman in the UK as I know that my customers are extremely grateful for the service I deliver.”
