Master builders have outdone themselves this Christmas with an enormous tree that stands 25ft tall – made out of 300,000 LEGO bricks.
The tree, which will appear at Legoland Winsor Resort, was unveiled today (Weds) as the added the finishing touches to the festive monstrosity.
The resort’s Model Makers using a cherry picker to reach the top of the giant tree and manoeuvre it into place.
An elaborate 6.5kg angel, made from 4,550 bricks, was placed atop the huge Christmas tree that is covered in sparkly lights.
It comprises of nine different colours of bricks as well as the rare transparent bricks.
It took designer, Hannah Reed, almost fifty hours to create and involved meticulous planning to ensure the proportions of the tree were successfully achieved.
A spokesperson for the resort said: “It is the centrepiece to a magical Christmas land at the Resort open now until 23 December.”
