Uruguayan hot shot Luis Suarez is expected to make his Liverpool debut against Stoke City tonight after receiving international clearance.
The striker, signed from Ajax for £23.5 million on Monday, goes straight into the squad as Liverpool look to continue their recent good run of form under new boss Kenny Dalglish.
But Stoke will be now pushover with the Staffordshire club easily beating Liverpool at the Britannia Stadium earlier this season.
A statement on the club’s website said: “Liverpool new boy Luis Suarez is in line to make his Anfield debut against Stoke tonight after receiving international clearance from the FA.
“Tickets are still available for tonight’s game from the ticket office windows at Anfield and there will also be cash turnstiles open at the stadium tonight.
“Don’t miss out on this chance to see our new number seven in action.”
Suarez’s new strike partner, record buy Andy Carroll, will not make his debut for at least two weeks as he recovers from a thigh injury.
Stoke City have named loan signing John Carew in their provisional squad alongside Mamady Sidibe who returns after six-and-a-half months out injured.
Pulis’ side will be looking to improve on their disappointing away form this season, having lost seven out of 11 matches on their travels.
