Kate Middleton mania is reaching giddy new heights with the launch of a creepy souvenir doll to commemorate her wedding to Prince William.
Probably aimed at those whose royal wedding obsession is getting slightly out of control, the Kate doll stands at 16 inches and wears a copy of the blue dress the future princess wore to announce her engagement.
There will also be a Princess Kate doll dressed in a replica of her wedding gown after it is revealed on 29 April.
It is produced by The Franklin Mint, the same company that had a bust up with the Diana Memorial Fund over a doll they created of the late Princess.
The fund attempted to sue the mint for illegally producing her image – and lost.
Franklin Mint said of their new product: “Kate Middleton is living the dream every little girl holds dear… Becoming a Princess.
“Our Kate Middleton doll is a beautiful and authentic replica of the future Princess, featuring hand-painted, life-like portrait sculpture, jewellery and a reproduction of the blue silk jersey dress that was worn to formally announce the engagement.”
This “piece of the fairytale” can be yours for a minuscule £120.
