Hardman Alex Reid was left fuming on hit TV quiz show Shooting Stars after one of the stars pretended to mistake him – for Jordan’s ex Peter Andre.
Cage-fighting champ Reid, 34, was furious when comedy character Angelos Epithemiou (pictured) congratulated him on ‘Insania’ – which was sung by Peter Andre.
Half-way through the quiz, Angelos – played by comic actor Dan Renton Skinner – turned to Reid and said: ”Alex, I am a DJ and I know about music okay.
”Let me just tell you this right. You, young man, were robbed.
”You should have had a number one single with that ‘Insania’.”
The audience erupted in laughter at the jibe while Reid pulled a pained smile.
Hosts Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer tried to calm the situation down by joking that they would act as Angelos’ injury lawyers.
Earlier in the quiz Reid, who married Jordan in a quickie wedding in Las Vegas in February, looked grumpy as he denied he was a cage-fighter, insisting he was a ”mixed martial artist”.
Vic continued to rib Reid, claiming co-host Bob was a ‘Hutch fighter’ competing against rabbits.
Today a show insider revealed Reid was ”annoyed” about the Peter Andre jibe.
The source said: ”Everybody who goes on Shooting Stars knows what to expect and everyone gets a ribbing.
”Alex was going along with it but was clearly uncomfortable when Angelos mistook him for Peter Andre.
”After the cameras stopped rolling it was obvious he was annoyed at the comment.”
