Justin Bieber and the Jonas Brothers may attract hoards of screaming teenage fans but they proved less popular with NME readers who voted for them to receive three ‘worst’ gongs at this year’s awards.
Biebs scooped the Least Stylish and Worst Album gongs in the rock bible’s annual awards while Disney’s Jonas Brothers were named Worst Band.
Unsurprisingly, neither were present at last night’s ceremony at Brixton Academy to collect their trophies.
More successful acts on the night included My Chemical Romance, who picked up the Best International Band and Best Video awards as well as opening the ceremony.
Canadian indie band Arcade Fire’s record The Suburbs scooped Best Album just like it did at The Grammys and Brits while Matt Bellamy’s band Muse were named Best British Band.
Biffy Clyro walked away with Best Live Band and Brit winner Laura Marling scooped Best Solo Artist.
Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl was named Godlike Genius, the first time the award hasn’t gone to a British act.
Lady Gaga was voted readers’ Hero Of The Year while PM David Cameron picked up Villain Of The Year.

The Jonas Brothers are definitely NOT the worst band so many more come before them such as N-Dubz. People just don’t give the Jonas Brothers a chance because people think they “childish” and “disney” when they’re neither as they’re first album came out before Camp Rock.
THANK YOU. THE JONAS BROTHERS ARE AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
