Shamed designer John Galliano has had his Paris Fashion Week catwalk show cancelled after he was arrested for an alleged anti-Semitic rant.
The Brit fashion guru’s press office confirmed that his autumn/ winter 2011 collection will no longer be shown on the catwalk but in a presentation format instead.
Galliano, 50, will not be there himself as he has reportedly entered rehab.
Earlier this week he was sacked from his position as head designer at French fashion house Dior after he was arrested for allegedly hurling anti-Semitic abuse at a couple in a Paris cafe.
Footage was released by The Sun newspaper of him drunkenly ranting and declaring: “I love Hitler.”
Galliano’s lawyers have strongly denied the allegations and claim their client was drunk at the time.
In France, making anti-Semitic remarks is punishable by up to six months in jail.
