Wayne Rooney swapped immaculate turf for a boggy field as he arrived in Somerset for the Glastonbury Festival.
The Man United star, wearing black wellington boots, sunglasses and a hoodie to cover his recent hair transplant, looked glum as he trekked along the straw-laden grounds.
He was joined by wife Coleen, younger brother Graeme and cousin Claire – arriving at the site by private helicopter.
An excited Coleen – looking bronzed after the her recent holiday in Barbados – had earlier tweeted a picture of her Jimmy Choo designer wellies having shelled out a staggering £255 on the must-have accessory.
The Rooneys, who were flanked by security, were ushered into a nearby tent away from prying fans.
One onlooker said: ”Coleen looked really excited about the event by Wayne looked bored already. I’m not sure if he’s going to enjoy three nights of this.”
Following two days of rain, the sun finally came out at Glastonbury yesterday afternoon as RnB star Chipmunk opened on the ‘Other Stage’.
