Scores of people turned out to watch a film in nothing but bikinis and trunks – at a new ‘hot tub’ cinema.
The event saw more than 100 people cram into a tiny studio in Bristol as it showcased its first ever Hot Tub Cinema night.
Showing a film every night at Paintworks Creative Space in Bedminster, Bristol, each of the nights sold out within a day as people jumped at the unique opportunity.
Fans have so far been treated to The Hangover, Ghostbusters and the Lion King, with Hot Tub Time Machine, Grease, Zoolander and Dirty Dancing still to come.
Asher Charmam, the creator of Hot Tub Cinema, said: “They are two things people love: hot tubs and watching films.
“We’ve had an extraordinary response from the people of Bristol. It’s actually quite humbling.
“I used to work in Bristol and lived in Bishopston, so I consider it one of my home towns.
“Bringing the cinema here has a real personal touch for me. Watching a film like this is a uniquely luxurious experience that you can enjoy with your loved one or friends.”
“If you can find a better night out in Bristol this October, I’ll eat my Speedos.”
