A football fan had his rival team’s logo TATTOOED on his arm – after losing a bet.
Ipswich Town fan Andrew Glover, 32, made the wager ahead of the 100-mile Prudential Ride in London.
Andrew, who is taking part in the cycle event, said if he reached his £1,000 fundraising target he would have Norwich City’s emblem inked on his arm.
And the soccer fan was left red-faced when £1,136 in donations poured in ahead of the ride on August 4.
Andrew, who already has a number of tattoos, suffered the pain of the Norwich badge being etched on his skin at the weekend.
The cyclist, from North Walsham, Norfolk, said: “The psychological damage is the worst thing.
“I feel terrible. I started supporting Ipswich when I was about 10. Everybody else supported Norwich, and I wanted to be different.
“I’ll be wearing long sleeves now when I go to Portman Road. And I’m going to have to get an Ipswich tattoo.”
