A Ferrari driver has been arrested after he is alleged to have repeatedly rammed a Fiat – and then beat up the driver.
The unnamed 32-year-old was travelling on the Rome motorway in his £170,000 Ferrari 458 Italia when he came up behind the driver of a Fiat 600 supermini.
After the Fiat driver refused to be overtaken, the tailgating Ferrari repeatedly rammed him before forcing the motorist off the road.
The fire-up Ferrari driver is then alleged to have smashed a window of the Fiat and beaten the driver up with the help of his 30-year-old passenger.
Police arrested both men on charges of assault, criminal damage and resisting arrest. They also recovered £23,000 from the Ferrari.
The Fiat driver suffered minor cuts and bruises and was promptly discharged from hospital.
