Sir Elton John accidentally let rip with the F-word whilst appearing on Chris Evans’s BBC Radio 2 show.
The legendary singer made the unexpected outburst after Evans told him that Jools Holland started every day by playing the piano.
Elton sighed and said: “Oh f****** hell.”
He then apologised for saying “that naughty word.”
Sir Elton also revealed details about the upcoming film of his life, which he described as “a kind of fantasy” in the same vein as Baz Luhrman’s Moulin Rouge.
He said: “My life’s been so surreal – from a football club to God knows what.”
It’s the second sweary slip-up from the beeb in recent months. Just before Christmas Radio 4 host James Naughtie accidentally called culture secretary Jeremy Hunt “Jeremy C***” live on air.
