Demi Lovato has completed rehab for “emotional and physical issues” and is back home in Los Angeles, but won’t be returning to work yet.
The Disney star, 18, pulled out of the Jonas Brothers world tour in October and checked in to a treatment centre.
It later emerged that one of her backing dancers had accused the star of attacking her, an allegation that was settled out of court in December.
Demi has now checked out of rehab but is taking a break before starting work again.
Her Disney channel show Sonny With a Chance is expected to start filming again when she is ready, and MTV reports that she also plans to tour later in the year.
Prior to being admitted to hospital Demi was working on new music and pursuing a more R&B sound, with producers such as Timbaland lined up to work with her.
She said at the time: “I grew up singing R&B then I grew up listening to rock, so it was kind of weird. But I’m kind of learning how to incorporate the two and I’m having a good time with it.”
